ROPE ACCESS

Industrial rope access is a form of “work positioning” developed from techniques used in mountaineering and caving. These techniques allow highly trained technicians a means of accessing remote or difficult locations, safely and efficiently. There are a range of tasks which can be performed on a variety of structures, whether it's conducting inspection on an offshore oil installation, undertaking maintenance work on a high rise building or blasting and painting over water. Rope access is particularly useful for confined space entry, where the method of access can also be the retrieval system in the event of an emergency. Unlike other conventional methods of access e.g. scaffolding and boom lifts, rope access can be mobilised very quickly causing minimum disruption.

ESP Rope Access Technology is a full and active member of IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) both as an Operator and a Trainer and strictly conforms to the guidelines which are now internationally recognised as a bench mark for excellence in safety. Many years and millions of man hours with no fatalities, provides an impressive track record. Visit IRATA website: www.irata.org
