In 2007 we have had some very minor injuries and one LTI, for the amount of work we have completed and the cumulative man hours involved this is probably quite a good record. “ESP was awarded the contract (Sept 2002 to Dec 2004) for all blasting and painting of all the steel structures at MLNG Tiga Project for LNG Trains 7 & 8 for the safety of workers below, and to reduce the costs of erecting tons of scaffolds… All this blasting and painting rope access work was carried out under high safety standards with international method statements/work procedures/JSA’s all meeting JV/MLNG requirements… ESP contract was extended to carry out the demolition/rebuild of all structures/piping… Work activities included many inspections for Petronas engineers… in many confined dangerous locations where scaffold was not an option.
